Jack doesn't just push managers to use fear to motivate. He rightfully points out the concept of 20/70/10. If you have a candid organization, where dealing with true issues dominates the conversations, those bottom feeders know just where they stand. I highly recommend this book for all managers and leaders.

This book is best intended for the CEO of a company, someone in a similar management position, or an entrepreneur. It does a great job of presenting the management content that led Welch and GE to great success. The lessons can even be applied to life outside of work. Jack Welch is an incredible man and this is an incredible book.

This will certainly be one of the finest books I have read on the topic. A practical guide on how to lead any company or life experience. Anyone without a business or management degree can understand it. It will remain a manual for me.
