A True Winner
This book is a primer for anyone looking to navigate his way through the corporate world. If you had to read one book this year, I would recommend Winning.
Best Book to Begin to Understand Good Business
This is strictly about business strategy but can be applied to life as well. This book breaks down the logic behind why and how Jack Welch made his decisions during one of the most successful runs as a CEO. A must read
Make This Book Part of Your Arsenal of Knowledge
This book offers the reader a distinct opportunity to read and learn directly from someone who sacrificed, fought through major personal challenges, and not only made a tremendous impact on a company but also had tremendous impact on countless of personal careers. Buy this book. Learn this book. Apply this book. You won't regret it.
Calling It Like It Is
Jack doesn't just push managers to use fear to motivate. He rightfully points out the concept of 20/70/10. If you have a candid organization, where dealing with true issues dominates the conversations, those bottom feeders know just where they stand. I highly recommend this book for all managers and leaders.
Amazing Insight, Yet Misfit Audience
This book is best intended for the CEO of a company, someone in a similar management position, or an entrepreneur. It does a great job of presenting the management content that led Welch and GE to great success. The lessons can even be applied to life outside of work. Jack Welch is an incredible man and this is an incredible book.
Easy to Read and Understand, With Many Useful Tips
This will certainly be one of the finest books I have read on the topic. A practical guide on how to lead any company or life experience. Anyone without a business or management degree can understand it. It will remain a manual for me.
